Operation Bloom Town

A city-wide program to paint the Richardson Landscape

The City of Richardson Parks and Recreation Department will meet with you to determine how much of your property you would like seeded with wildflowers. They will be able to give you an exact cost of planting the area you select  but about $100.00 per 1/10 acre.

Applications to participate in Operation Bloom Town are due at the parks office by June 15.

The City of Richardson will order the seed and coordinate with you to have it planted in time to have colorful blooms in the spring. The city charges only for the wholesale cost of the seed and labor.

Dan Baker, Superintendent of Parks, at 972-744-4300
